ePolk helps transportation funding leader upgrade Web sites

WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – Great Plains Transportation Services, Inc. has unveiled two ePolk-designed Web sites. Great Plains Transportation and its subsidiary, Partners Funding, Inc. chose a responsive Web design for the new sites. Responsive Web sites automatically adjust to the browser, giving the mobile-device user a superior display over standard, fixed-width Web sites.

The three day convention will be held in San Francisco, beginning on April 25. This year’s conference will commemorate IFG’s 40 years in business, hosting attendees from across the country, as well as Canada, United Kingdom, New Zealand and Australia.

WINTER HAVEN, FL – In partnership with Everett Whitehead and Son, Inc., ePolk has released a video entitled “200 Days in 30 Seconds – the Construction of the Downtown Winter Haven Parking Garage.” The video was created from images taken by a Whitehead Construction Web camera, recording the project since it began. Those images have become an instantaneous photo-journal of the project.

A planned data conversion was quickly accelerated on Friday afternoon with deadly tornadoes bearing down on the community of Fulton, Miss. ePolk, Inc. the Winter Haven-based technology firm, was on schedule to convert the Wallace Company’s database from Wallace’s own server in Fulton to the Cloud. The “Cloud” is a technological term referring to hosted services in a secured, offsite data center. WINTER HAVEN, FL – St. Joseph Catholic School has unveiled a new ePolk Web site. The site was completely re-designed with a modern look and functions. Photographs of current St. Joseph students, taken by Winter Haven photographer Mike Potthast, are used throughout. Parents can access student information through the site’s EduConnect link, and also make tuition payments through a secure portal, accessible from the home page. An integrated Content Management System (CMS) allows school staff to update the content as needed, without technical help.
