New web site draws visitors to Polk County

The Kissimmee River Park and Marina now has an ePolk designed Web site. Filled with colorful photographs of the RV and Mobile Home Park, the Web site offers important details about the resort and marina, which has direct canal access to five of Central Florida’s largest fishing lakes.
Designed with the recreational sportsman in mind, the site has a fishing motif with a rustic, outdoor feel. It was created by ePolk to give Kissimmee River Park and Marina the exposure needed to attract out-of-area visitors to Polk County. The site includes a page with current re-sale opportunities within the park. Located in Lake Wales, adjacent to the Kissimmee River State park, the resort caters to the active adult (55+) community, hosting both year-round and seasonal residents. The Web site will allow potential Polk County visitors to research the facility and reserve space before arriving in Florida.
"We have already received positive feedback about the new site," said Kissimmee River Park Manager Becky Vining. "For years we have been Polk County's best kept secret," Vining continued, "With our new Web site that is no longer the case, the secret is out."
